The pellet stove is roaring and the scent of cinnamon and pine wafts through the house that is alive with extra bodies and Christmas songs on a never-ending playlist. The kids have started to arrive and with them their fur babies that make up the family. When everyone arrives, there will be five family members, one boyfriend, seven cats and a dog. It seems a lot, but we make it work. Most of the animals get along most of the time and their antics provide much entertainment.

I am sitting here thinking about family, sipping my favorite Tea4USA Earl Grey remembering Christmas’s past and of those who are no longer with us. Of the baking that I am yet to start but it won’t be Christmas if I don’t complete, the traditional steamed pudding, the mince tarts, the shortbread. The Holidays are a time to reminisce, memories that come flooding back, it is the time to pass along those stories of the past to the next generation. It is the time when sharing is the key ingredient in all interactions.

From all of us at TEA4USA, we wish you a happy, healthy and wonderful Christmas, Hanukkah, Winter Solstice, Kwanza, or whichever Holiday you celebrate. May your days be merry and bright, filled with the love and laughter of friendship and family and many good cups of tea.
